Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I was found on the
street, and no one at CARA can believe that no one came looking for me.
My Story
I am a super sweet, gentle guy, and extremely well mannered; I get a long with dogs, cats, kids, and people. The folks at CARA love me! They say I am very social and when I come back from my potty break, I always stop by to say hello to everyone I pass, even the larger dogs. They would really love to see me with a family of my own because they say that I am certainly deserving. I am house trained and don't have any bad habits. If you are looking for a dog that you don't have to train...I AM YOUR MAN!!! I can just move right in and it will be like I was always there. Please give me a second chance for a warm, soft, and comforting place to live.

Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: Like Rev (the Pug
from last week's newsletter), my owners moved away and left me behind. I am just
a baby and I was sad, scared and all alone. A kindly older lady took me in and called
CARA to come and get me. A shelter is no place for a puppy, so I hope, and pray,
that this newsletter will reach the right person to give me a loving home.
My Story
I love to play with other dogs but I will also lie still for hours if you'll hold me and rub my belly! I am great with kids and cats, too. Keep in mind that I am only 6 months old and love to tear stuff up if left unattended for very long.

Where I came from / How I came to the Shelter: I was a hurricane
season 2008 refugee. I was rescued by an individual and transferred to Ark following
a long stay at a veterinary clinic.
My Story
Hello there! My name is Chi Chi! I came to the Madison Ark in hopes of finding a new forever home in the fall of 2008. I arrived in Jackson during Hurricane Gustav as a growing puppy, but I contracted parvo and went through treatment at the vet. I lived there for awhile and grew to be beautiful dog. I now weigh about 40 pounds and have gotten taller. I am also perfectly healthy and vaccinated now. I love to play tug-o-war and go for long walks. My dream is to find a forever friend who will play with me outside and give me lots of exercise, but love on me when it's time for bed. I'm a big snuggle-bunny and can help keep you warm at night! Won't you come meet me and take me home with you?
